This activity requires robust, versatile vehicles adapted to the various constraints encountered, such as the diverse nature of loading sites, with or without a loading dock and not always adapted to HGVs, different types of goods and packaging, etc.
A telematics system enabling vehicles to be localised is also vital to monitor how rounds are progressing.
SMARTOPEN-C
CHEREAU’s patented electric rear door opening system, with pulsed opening in less than 10 seconds.
Its exclusive kinematics with opening above the body allows the installation of all the interior fittings that are essential for modern urban deliveries.
ELECTRO-PNEUMATIC CURTAIN
Press-and-hold rear door opening and closing system. It provides better ergonomics than traditional rear doors for distribution activities.
AIRSHUTTER-C
The AirShutter-C curtain limits transfers between the internal and external air. If the temperatures are different, it starts up automatically, thus helping to extend rounds for the vehicle.
EASY-C EVO PARTITION
The Easy-C Evo partition enables multi-temperature operations. Easy to handle with a secure locking system, it facilitates optimum air circulation thanks to its new end-stop spacers.
EASYFLEX PARTITION
Our EasyFlex partition is ergonomic. It is lighter and also stronger; in the event of an impact, it tilts forward and then returns to its original position.
It has a hydrophobic insulating foam and an impact-resistant thermoplastic skin. Finally, its footprint has been reduced by 70mm, making it compatible with the transport of 33 pallets in multi-temperature.
STAINLESS STEEL SIDES
Additional protection on the sides increases the vehicle’s service life and makes cleaning it easier.
CAMERA SOLUTIONS
CHEREAU provides a range of cameras offering visibility up to 360° around the vehicle to facilitate manoeuvres and secure the vehicle and its surroundings.
CITYLIGHT
This warning light system provides dynamic flash signalling to alert road users that a delivery is underway and a powerful work light to illuminate the rear of the vehicle.
SLIDING CONNECTION PANEL
Connection panel system limiting tension in cables and hoses, and facilitating coupling and uncoupling the semi-trailer.
BUMPER-C
CHEREAU’s patented Bumper-C protects the vehicle when docking and has been a reference for over 15 years.
FLEX-C LED
An extremely robust patented rear light system which retracts when it comes into contact with an obstacle. It is equipped with LED technology, with a significantly longer service life than that of traditional bulbs.

TAILGATE
CHEREAU provides a wide range of retractable or folding tailgates and accessories selected from the Dhollandia and Bär ranges. Tailgates from other brands can also be incorporated by the Customisation department.
PREVENTION OF UNEXPECTED VEHICLE MOVEMENT
System locking the semi-trailer brakes from inside the body to prevent any unexpected vehicle movement during the loading and unloading phases.
CONNECTBOX
The ConnectBox is a new interface box between the tractor and the trailer. This standard equipment allows for expanded functionality and safety options. These include flashing clearance lights, reversing light delay and flash warning before the lights go out.
